News from Local Planning Authority, Coimbatore:
The Local Planning Authority has received nearly 1,000 objections to the revised Coimbatore Master Plan. According to an official of the authority, the public can submit their suggestions and objections for one more month.
A field-level survey of these will be taken up after that and the genuine changes will be incorporated in the plan.
The authority has been organising special camps to create awareness and get the suggestions and objections from the public for the Master Plan. It is revised after more than a decade. Details of the map are available on the website of the Coimbatore LPA.
